Congratulations on getting a new puppy. You love the puppy a lot, and they love you too. That's why you need to pay extra attention to take care of your new family member. Puppy parenting, can be overwhelming, and the care should start before you bring the little pup home.
First, you need to find the right puppy that fits you and your family. Size, activity level, hair type, etc.
Bring your puppy to a veterinarian and have a general health check as soon as the first day you take over the ownership. You will be able to receive a lot of essential information from the vet how to take care your little friend. Do not let your puppy touch the ground, especially on the way home. you never know who else has pooped or peed there. A lot of disease that can cause serious harm are contracted on the ground. Have your puppy vaccinated as soon as possible.
House train your puppy is challenging but its well worth the work. Puppies eat up to four times a day and will have to go potty after. Use potty pad and do not let them walk on the ground before having all required vaccination complete. that can save a lot of medical cost, even the precious life of puppies.
Crate train your puppy and give them their own space. Make your puppy play in or near the crate so they become comfortable being inside the crate with treats.
Below is a link of a very good puppy training video from youtube. That helps a lot.
